6 uncomfortable miles, well maybe only about 4 1/2 were uncomfortable thanks to a large blister from Sunday’s long run. Even the mole skin didnt help, but guess thats because I didnt pop the blister Sunday.

All in all it felt great to get back out for a long run. Walked for all my water and gel intakes and a couple more in between, but kept a decent pace all things considered. My quads are killing me, I feel some discomfort but tons better than how it felt after the half marathon back on the 13th. If I can stay on a steady build, I should still be able to hit my goal come February 14th, we shall see.

An easy 3 miles to start the day with the doctor clearing me to start building miles back. The morton’s neuroma pain is almost gone, now just need to figure out what I did to the right ankle area, probably from taking most the weight and compensating for the left foot pain.

Another good morning of stretching. Also another good doctor’s visit for my foot, electrical pulse/laser/sonic etc and hopefully back to running next week, but will wait for the clear from the doctor on Tuesday next week. I do need to get on the bike since that is allowed but its been raining and while I will run in the rain, I will not bike in it.

After taking several days off of everything, I got in my normal stretching routine this morning. The funk should wear off, now knowing my foot does not have a stress-fracture but instead I have Morton’s Neuroma and a weak psoas muscle. No running for a week (this sucks but I gotta listen to the doctor), but stretching and biking/cross-training are permitted.

Despite what might be a stress-fracture or worse (seeing the doctor on Tuesday), I completed my 3rd half-marathon. My friend Bill completed the full marathon and qualified for Boston, WAY TO GO BILL!!!
